IRDAI vide Circular ref. no IRDAI/LIFE/CIR/MISC/99/5/2023 dated May 04, 2023 has issued Instructions to stop the facility of re-payment of loan taken against the insurance policy through Credit Card.
Through the Circular, the Authority has directed the life insurers to refrain from accepting re-payment of loans taken against the insurance policy through credit card payments from the customers, with immediate effect.
