IRDAI – Circular on servicing to the policyholders : Special measures for current FY 25-26

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (“ IRDAI ” / “ Authority ”) has issued a Circular on Servicing to the policyholders – Special Measure for the current Financial Year 2025-26, bearing reference number IRDAI/PP&GR/CIR/MISC/43/3/2026, dated March 25, 2026 (“ Circular ”).

Key Highlights

• The insurers are advised to keep their offices open as per their normal working hours on March 31, 2026.
• The above arrangement shall be taken note and given adequate publicity by the insurers.
• The Circular is issued by approval of Competent Authority.
