IRDAI issued an Order bearing reference number: IRDAI/INT/ORD/MISC/47/02/2024 dated February 29, 2024, with respect to the appointment of Election Officer to conduct 14 th Council Elections of Indian Institute of Insurance Surveyors and Loss Assessors (IIISLA).
The major highlights of the order are mentioned below:
1. Shri V. Devanathan, Ex-Consultant, GI Council, is appointed as Election Officer for the 14th Council elections, aligning with Article 49 of IIISLA’s Articles of Association.
2. The Election Officer has been advised to conduct elections smoothly, fairly, and transparently, adhering to IIISLA’s AOA and Election Regulations.
3. IIISLA is instructed to provide necessary cooperation and financial assistance for election conduct as per AOA and Election Regulations.
4. IIISLA shall cover all election expenses, including a Rs 1,50,000/- honorarium for Shri V. Devanathan, integrated into the overall election expenses.
