IRDAI vide ref. No. IRDAI/GA&HR/CIR/MISC/167/8/2022 dated August 9, 2022 has issued a Circular on “Migration of BAP to new hardware and the latest software”.
Major highlights of the Circular are as follows:
- IRDAI is in the process of migrating BAP to new hardware and latest software for its upgradation
- IRDAI has clarified that BAP portal will not be available for any functional use from August 10, 2022 8:00 P.M. to August 16, 2022 9:00 P.M.
- Insurers / insurance intermediaries are requested to ensure that all activities connected to BAP are carried out before August 10, 2022 8:00 P.M.
