Circular on National Cyber Security Awareness Month 2025 (NCSAM)

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (“IRDAI“) has issued a circular dated October 06, 2025, on National Cyber Security Awareness Month, 2025 (“NCSAM 2025“).

The key highlights of the Circular are as follows:

• The month of October is observed as National Cyber Security Awareness Month globally.
• NCSAM 2025 aims to highlight and enhance the importance of cyber security awareness across public and private sectors.
• All regulated entities under IRDAI and training institutes are advised to celebrate the month of October 2025 as Cyber Security Awareness Month and carry out activities promoting cyber hygiene.
• The entities are advised to organise mass outreach initiatives across diverse media platforms, including television, radio, social media reels, memes, SMS campaigns, and other effective channels.
• A summary of activities carried out during the month shall be submitted to IRDAI at infosec@irdai.gov.in by 5th November, 2025.
