IRDAI vide ref No: IRDAI/HLT/CIR/MISC/235/12/2022 dated December 06, 2022 has issued a Circular on “Extension of timelines for filing of Health Quarterly Returns to the Authority”(Circular).
IRDAI has drawn reference to Clause 1. ii of the Circular on “Revision of Health Insurance Regulatory Returns (HIR)”, dated September 9, 2022 with regard to time limit for furnishing quarterly returns and has revised the time limit for furnishing the quarterly returns from 5 days to 20 days from the end of reporting quarter.
IRDAI has also clarified that these norms are applicable with immediate effect.
