IRDAI has issued a Circular on Servicing to the Policyholder – Special Measures for the current financial year 2023-24 bearing reference no. IRDAI/PP&GR/CIR/MISC/55/3/2024 dated March 28, 2024, with an intent to avoid hardship to the Policyholder.
1. Insurers have been advised to keep their offices open as per normal working hours on March 30, 2024, and March 31, 2024.
2. Insurers have been further advised to take note of the Circular and provide adequate publicity to the arrangement mentioned above.
