IRDAI vide Notice bearing no. IRDAI/SUR/ENROLL/ON/FEB/2024 dated February 29, 2024, issued a notice pertaining to the enrolment of Surveyor, with an intent to provide sufficient time to all the prospective applicants for responding to the queries and applying for III Surveyors Examinations.
The major highlights of the Notice are as follows:
1. Implemented Cut-off Dates for Enrolment Applications: To avoid last-minute rush, the following cut-off dates have been decided for consideration of enrolment applications submitted for each quarter examinations:
III Surveyor pre-licensing examinations are to be held every year quarterly during
Registration dates that will be opened by III for these exams
Trainee Enrolment Applications that will be considered by IRDAI
March
During 1st week of January
Applications submitted in BAP Portal to IRDAI on or before 15th December
June
During 1st week of April
Applications submitted in BAP Portal to IRDAI on or before 15th March
September
During 1st week of July
Applications submitted in BAP Portal to IRDAI on or before 15th June
December
During 1st week of October
Applications submitted in BAP Portal to IRDAI on or before 15th September
2. Advisory to Trainee Applicants:
a. Submit applications well in advance of cut-off dates for IRDAI consideration.
b. Pre-Submission Checklist for Applicants:
i. Verify eligible qualifications as per IRDAI regulations.
ii. Ensure consistency between the BAP portal name and qualification certificate.
iii. Confirm correct PAN details.
iv. Accurate address as per valid proof.
v. Refer to the User Manual on the BAP portal mentioned below for guidance.

3. Document Submission Guidelines: Applicants are advised to self-attest and upload the following:
a. PAN card.
b. Present address proof.
c. Qualification certificate.
d. Trainer Acceptance Certificate (for “Internship with Surveyor”).
e. Explanation letter for occupation status.
f. NOC if employed, mentioning details and employer’s approval for surveyor license enrolment.
