IRDAI vide Notice bearing no. IRDAI/SUR/EXAM/ON/SEP/2023 dated July 6, 2023 has issued a notice pertaining to instructions that are required to be followed before initiating the registration for the Surveyor.
The highlights of the Instructions were as follows:
All applications that were submitted till July 5, 2023 have been approved by IRDAI till July 5, 2023 (the approved enrolment list has attached along with the Notification).
1. Applicants with multiple enrollments for different departments have been made eligible with only 1 approved enrollment number.

3. If there are any discrepancies in the list pertaining to September, 2023, then eligible applicants shall contact kiransharma@irdai.gov.in before 5.00PM till July 10, 2023.
4. Applicants whose details are already appearing in previous lists may approach Insurance Institute of India (III) with previous issued date of published list.
5. Applicants need to obtain student membership from Indian Institute of Insurance Surveyors & Loss Assessors before appearing for the exam. Further, the Applicants shall appear for the exams pertaining only to their respective departments for which they have enrolled.
6. If the enrollments are approved, then they shall register for Online Surveyor Examination, September, 2023 with requisite fee on the website ( www.insuranceinstituteofindia.com ).
7. Inquiries regarding online examination shall be submitted to surveyor@iii.org.in or Call 022-26544230/274/259.
IRDAI further gives certain important information which is as follows:
New applicant needs to register with III in accordance with the “Help Manual Surveyors” available on www.insuranceinstituteofindia.com .
